Silver medal after a three way playoff for the  Bantam Girls Team, from Provost Bowling Centre - Ashley Neth, Anna-Mae Rustad, Blair Heck, Taryn Heintz, Coach Joy Werenka

Combo Team Boys: Heritage Lanes, lost a tie breaker for 3 rd place - Dylan Smith, Brody Kopec, Jaymin Wudkevich, Coach: Nick Burlo

Combo Team Girls: Heritage Lanes, took 5th place, Ashley Bessette,  Bailey Burge,  Robin Forgues, Coach: Grace Escott

 Bantam Girls Single Emma Jean Ostrikoff, Heritage Lanes ended tied for 4th place, missing a playoff for third by only one point.

ALBERTA OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

In ladies singles Central bowlers Andrea Leavitt finished third in qualifying, but was defeated by fifth place finisher Nancy Gervais in the stepladder.  Nancy won three games on the ladder, but lost to the top singles qualifier Tara Seitz (South) in the final.

Derek Home had to beat top singles qualifier Brad Wilton twice to take the men's title in an all Calgary final.  The second match was 316-303.

Edmonton swept all three team events, with the Central Mixed team picking up a bronze medal

CENTRAL POA TEAM WINS NATIONAL ENTRY IN THUNDER BAY

The Central "A" team came from behind to capture 2nd spot and a trip to the Nationals in Thunder Bay in late April.

The team is comprised of

Kelly Budd and Coach: Eric Andersen

The Edmonton "A" team captured 1st place and will also compete at Nationals.
